Arcana Mods - Muted RTA

Development of the Muted RTA began as early as November 2022; now, after almost two years of intense work, they finally present us the new atomizer.

Description:

The Muted RTA is not a successor to the Arcana 22 RTA, but an independent atomizer that expands the Arcana Mods & PIPELINE family. It is an RTA with lateral air flow (Side-Air), very silent and with airpins not visible from the outside. This is particularly advantageous when used on a Side-by-Side device, as it is not possible to accidentally cover the air holes. The idea of ​​hidden airflow, which has already proven successful in the Cocoon RTA, has also been applied, in close collaboration with Steampipes, for the first time in a Bottom-Coil atomizer, the Muted RTA.

The Muted RTA is primarily an MTL (Mouth to Lung) atomizer, but also offers the ability to be used with optional RDL* airflow pins and an RDL* airflow ring. This AFC RDL ring visibly clears the ventilation holes, to ensure sufficient airflow. Of course, this ring is also suitable for MTL setups, should that be preferred for aesthetic reasons.

The base of the atomizer is equipped with sleds to aid in the positioning of the coils, which makes it easier to determine the optimal coil height. In this way, the coil is ideally positioned in relation to the airflow, ensuring excellent compression. For a more intense hit (Flash/Throat Hit) or less compression, you can position the coil lower. The shot is very smooth and quiet, regardless of the type of shot. Additionally, the Muted RTA delivers a strong Flash/Throat Hit without being aggressive.

The liquid management and refill system have been designed similarly to those of the Arcana 22, to be easy to use: turning the topcap counterclockwise closes the liquid regulation and opens the tank. Rotating clockwise closes the topcap and reopens the flow of liquid. The ring under the topcap rotates together with the cap, if you grab both, thus avoiding accidental opening of the tank. To further customize the appearance of the Muted RTA, the ring is optionally available in different colors – in the future also in other colors and materials. As always, an optional Diamond-Cut conversion kit is available, to vary the aesthetic appearance of the Muted RTA.

Despite its compact size, the tank has a capacity of 4.1 ml of liquid. With the optional extension kit, the volume can be increased by a further 2 ml.

Included in the package:

Included in the package are three different sets of air holes (0.8mm, 0.9mm and 1.0mm) and one closed airpin. These can be mounted under the AFC cover without having to remove the coil. The Muted RTA can be used with one or two airpins. Additional Airpin sets are also available: “Tight-MTL” (0.6mm and 0.7mm), “Open-MTL” (1.1mm and 1.2mm) and “RDL” (1.3mm , 1.4 mm and 1.6 mm).

Two 0.8mm pins give air passage equivalent to a 1.13mm hole.

Two 0.9mm pins give air passage equivalent to a 1.27mm hole.

Two 1.0mm pins give air passage equivalent to a 1.41mm hole.

*RDL pins and RDL AFC ring will not be available when the Muted RTA is released, but will be added later.

Notes:

* Airpins are not pre-installed. The size of the pins is engraved on the airpin itself. 

* This is a rebuildable atomizer. It is supplied without resistance, which must be prepared separately. 

* The Muted RTA comes with a 15x1 O-Ring on the top base and a 16x1 O-Ring on the bottom base.

This is the recommended configuration.

Both 15x1 and 16x1 O-Rings are included in the replacement kit package. With two 15x1 O-Rings, the flow of liquid will be very easy, while with two 16x1 O-Rings it will be tighter.

If two 15x1 O-Rings are too easy to move and two 16x1 O-Rings are too tight, we recommend using the standard configuration: one 15x1 O-Ring on top and one 16x1 O-Ring on the bottom on the base.
